Ive seen a few posts about this, thought this might reassure someone.

We are flying with BA on Wednesday, didnt pay to sit together and was a bit worried in case they split us up.

They allocate seats to those with children 3 days before, ours were there when I looked yesterday so 4 days before and they have sat us together, 2 with 2 directly behind.

I would rather have 3 and 1 across the aisle so will see if I can change them 24 hours before but am grateful they sat us together:)

Looking at the seat plan not many people paid for their seats to be allocated at all, only really the ones with extra leg room.

3 more sleeps, excited !:cool1:

Sounds like a good reason not to pay for seast allocations. ;) They very rarely split young children up from the rest of the family. This goes for most airlines. Glad you can relax about that now. :)

This never used to hapen though with BA - when we first went to Florida in 2000, my 4 year old sister was sat in a completely separate cabin to rest of us! :confused3 After that, they lost our service, as they didn't seem to get what they had done!

But, it looks like they've moved on in 10 years!! :)
