Got our FP+ last night

Our 60 day mark was today. So at midnight last night (actually 11:00 Illinois time), we chose our FP+!!
It was painless and easy and we survived!!! Got the times we wanted within a few minutes of times we wanted. YAY!

we did ours the other day and got everything we wanted as well. Even got 2 anna and elsa meets. 1st one is at 1030 at night. So then I tried for another day and got one at 4pm. going to keep both just in case 1030 doesn't go our way. or in case of weather or something like that.

I had a similar experience Only oddity was our AK day mysteriously got switched immediately to slightly different FP times for one member of our family. I cleared out the day, re-entered, and all was then well. I recall this happening a lot more last year, so this is progress!

I was up last night making my FP+ reservations as well and I also got everything I wanted. Anna and Elsa are important to my 7 year old dd, so thankfully I was able to snag a reservation on the last day of our trip (which happens to be a Sunday). She is disappointed that she will have to wait until our final day to meet those two, but I say that it will give her something exciting to look forward to.

As a WDW newbie (well, other than a short trip when I was 12!!!), I was very nervous about making my reservations, but I must say it was quite easy. I did look at the instructions at the website below to familiarize myself with the system and that made me feel much more comfortable.

The tip about choosing times that are furthest away from the times that you really want was extremely helpful to me and it wasn't something I would have thought of on my own. If this tip doesn't make sense, read the link as it explains it very well.

This is so helpful. We are getting our FP+ for later in the days on most days, so we chose morning time and 'changed the time'. On the days we were looking for early FP+ we chose evening times and again 'changed the time'. We did learn this from the above easywdw thread. Great info!

Ours was last week and was also easy. Got what we wanted.

Even so, now I've moved into the constant tinkering phase...
