Heard DH's phone ring, no one answered. He came out from where he was, listened to the message. It was UPS, saying they would be there TODAY, some time between 8am and 7pm (helpful) and that someone had to be there.

sidenote: HOW does that work when all the adults in a household work? I'm at home so it would have been fine, and this is DH's weekend so it was extra fine, but come on.

So just after he wrote down the tracking number and told me, KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK.

It was UPS! Very fun.

If Daffidyl reads this, absolutely we got three MTTMM vouchers, even though the paperwork had the annoying and unhelpful (1).

DS of course wanted to snag the tickets. Our 5 day parkhoppers. I usually try to meet him in the middle with things that aren't important, but almost $600 worth of tickets? Nope. Not in the hands of a 3 year old. Especially a three year old who managed to "disappear" my debit card when he was 1 (we even moved, and I cleaned thoroughly, and we NEVER found it).

I didn't get the clear envelope/holder, but it was pretty and blue, and has little divided sections and it's great fun for an organizer like me.

since I am trying to keep our trip a secret Im having our sent to my work address. If not I owuld have to hope they come when someone is home . But we have never got a call they were coming , we are lucky if they wait for a signature here. Guard those tickets , but you do get to keep them and they make a great play credit card later!

Thanks for the info Bumbershoot.....very relieved to hear that! I have to wait to get my goodies because they won't post it to Australia so I was told I'll get it when we check in at Camelot.

Ours was delivered when we were all gone, at work and daycare respectively. lol I called UPS and re-routed it to my work address and it was delivered the next day. I brought it home, put it in plain sight and the kids never saw it! LOL About a week later (1 week before we left) we did a treasure hunt and the kids found them, they were sooooooooooo excited! LOL

Jennifer03, I just read your trip report from June. Where did you drive from? We're doing a big road trip driving to my HS reunion in San Jose, and then continuing to Anaheim a week later, and I guess I *could* just look at my TripTik (just love getting those from AAA) to see how long it takes, but I like experience better. Where did ya drive from?



Thing about those parkhoppers is that they are getting turned into APs. So I'm actually not sure if they will let us keep them after we upgrade? Much different than the paper one-day tickets we've had on our last two trips (not even parkhoppers)!
