Just snagged our tickets for the night of Dec 2nd, so we'll be coming down from dinner at the Royal Table straight into the party

Question for folks who've done the Christmas party-We already had our 4 day park hopper tickets and MagicBands. Do the Christmas Party tickets link to our MagicBands automatically or do I need to go in and manually link them when the physical tickets arrive?

They should be there in MDE without you having to link them. Just so you know what you get in the mail will be WDW gift cards with a letter confirming the party.

So, when we DO get the physical tickets, do we need to have those with us when we actually go to the party or are the tickets also on our bands?

We always bring the physical just in case but they will scan the bands and give you your special party band and schedule beginning at 4 pm. If you are somewhere else and coming to MK at that time or after there is a special turnstile entrance. If you are already in MK they have certain locations you can go to.
