got my wii! weeweeee!

I just got one!! :cool1:

I was in NYC and decided to check Toys R Us since we had read they had 5,000 in stock on Sunday. They still have stacks of them today.

I don't know whether to hook it up now, or take a nap. I'm exhausted from dragging it around trains and walking up my 4 flights of stairs.

Got mine pre-ordered on Amazon! They sold out dead quick - I had to wake up at 8:50 just to be ready to pounce on one over the net

Roll on 8th December!

and the Wii cost less

I know!!! But, I still walked away with sticker shock....the unit, the games, the extra remotes, the 1GB of memory...and of course, the "MUST" game guides....DH had himself all in a wad. I kept telling him to relax, it could be worse....they could be begging for PS3....

(On a personal note....I can't wait to play Rayman myself. I LOVE RAYMAN!)

My son got one. Does anyone know if you can download games from the internet or do you need a Wii points card and how does it work? I'm kind of clueless when it comes to game systems.

You can download old games from the internet using the wii. They do cost money, I think around 5 dollars a game. You can either buy a wii points card from a store and put money on it or just use your credit card when ordering the game. The games cost a certain number of points and I think the points are each a penny, so a hundred points equal a dollar.
Hope that makes sense.

What website do you use to download the games? Is it Nintendo.com?
Thanks.

I don't know. You don't use your computer to get to it, you use your wii. In the main menu of the wii there is a button you click on and it takes you to the games.
