Got my Vacation Planning Kit Today!

I am SO excited..after 2 months of waiting I FINALLY got my Vacation Planning Kit today!! Not like I needed another one, but Hey...it's something to look forward to and pass the time away until we go in July!!!

What did you think of the package? Some members didn't like the fast pace of the clips. Personally, I thought that tried to impress the idea that there are SO many things to do at disney world. Obviously, quite a few people some a lot of time putting this planner together. And I am just talking about the DVD, haven't had a chance to check out the CD.

I agree with you! There was so many fast pace clips of the rides and shows that it didn't give you a good enough look at the detail. Especially in the resort section...those sections were only about 1 minute long! The characters in the DVD were humorous though, especially Dave (i think thats his name) who liked to sit on the benches.

I thought it was interesting the way they did it this time. A little more interactive if you ask me. But, I didnt like that they didnt have much detail on the hotels or the smaller things that Disney provides. Well done in general though.

The CD rom is rather pointless though. It just repeats what the dvd says.

I liked the fast clips. It gave me a chance to look at things over and over again and try to catch something I missed before. Overall, I give it two thumbsup. I haven't checked out the CD rom yet.

I like the fast pace of the rides, IMHO, too much is given about rides, etc. on the travel channel and other shows - it leaves nothing else to the imagination - the fast pace gives you enough to tease you!!! I was so disappointed - all the shows (at least 10+++ from the Travel Channel) and the Disney Vacation Planner - so when we got there it was as if I rode that ride 10 times. It was almost like we'd "been there done that"!!!! Very little was left up to the imagination - now don't get me wrong - do research - but I personally think I went a little overboard!!!

My excitement for Disneyland (I'll be there in July/August) is simple - it is so much I don't know - and so much is left to my imagination!!!! I am looking forward to getting my DL Vacation Planning DVD - hope it doesn't take 2 months!!!!
