Does anyone know if Meijer will adjust the price on tomorrow's sale if I go and buy it today?

I called my Target yesterday about this, and was not given a definitive answer. The manager I spoke with said I could try but he was not sure if the computer system will allow them to do the price adjustment on Black Friday. It may be an exception to their store policy. But I am going to try!

You are right. The camera on the cover of the BF ad is red. The ad says red or silver. When I went today they said they can't sell the red until Friday but they can sell the silver

You could always return & rebuy ~ not as nice as a price adjustment cause you'd have to have the items with you (I don't think you do for an adjustment ~ just your receipt) but that would work I think.

I just went today too and bought the dual rest dvd players for the car. I asked if I could get a price adjustment if they went on sale, the girl said she wasn't sure if it was a doorbuster but said they could try. Good enough, i got them. If I can't get them for the door buster price they can have them back.ha

that's the point. they are NOT excluded as there is no "door buster" it is a two day ad

Just back from Target... I was trying to buy the Westinghouse Tv and get it price adjusted on Friday. Well the guy in electronics said that they will not make any price adjustments on doorbuster deals and that the TV was included. He said the only way I could get the price was if I returned it, it went back on the floor, and then I re-bought it. Then he said that I probably wouldn't be able to actually get the tv back once I returned it and it went back on the sales floor. So I chickened out and just bought some of the other sale. Hopefully he was wrong, but I didn't feel like taking the chance.

What if you say you seen it online and it shows they had them at the store.. would they still say they couldn't sell it? I didn't have a problem getting mine today

I went there and bought the Casio keyboard for $99 which will be on sale on Friday for $49. They said I would be able to price match it on Friday no problem. I was happy!! Hope it's true and I can get 50% off on Friday!

Walmart won't have all their BF items out, they are wrapped up until the time the store goes open. But I bought a Wii Game and asked if it goes cheaper on Black Friday could I get a refund and they said yes.

We went ahead and bought the tv with the thought we would just return it if they would not do a price adjustment. That tv is not in a big red circle that says doorbuster like some of the other tvs. So who knows!!

They DO have Doorbusters. They are in bright red circles in the ad. They are while supplies last, so they could last into Saturday, but they probably won't.

That is how I understood the ad as well. My experience with Target customer service is - it doesn't matter who you talk to...it won't matter. I would be really surprised if Target price matches on anything on Friday...unless they actually have the items in stock when you are there on Friday to do the price matching.

Just returned from Target. My friend called me at home from the store while she was scoping out the price adjustment deal. She said that an employee called a manager (Karl) who said they would price adjust on Friday. So, I drive over to the store to get the TV and my friend was going to get the TV and the CoolPix camera.

When I arrived, I spoke with someone in electronics about our plan. He hemmed and hawed not sure it would work, and then called the service desk to let me speak with a manager up there. The manager said the PA wouldn't work for BF 2 day ads. Just to make sure, she put me on hold and called a GSM who told her no, the computer would not let them price adjust an item on a special 2 day sale. She said that if I bought that night and then brought my items back to get price adjusted, if the items were sold out (which they would be) they would be flagged upon the return when the item was scanned to get the price adjustment. She said there's no way to do a PA if the item is sold out on a special ad.

We then spoke with another GSA who was on the floor hanging up big arrows from the ceiling that were pointing at the doorbuster items. He also said that no, the PA would not work. Corporate policy is that they don't honor PA's on 2 Day ads like BF. I asked if it was in writing on the ad and he said if it wasn't, he's sure corporate has it in writing as a policy. He said he knew this from last year. NO PA's on Black Friday items and even if they wanted to, the computer would not let them.

We asked why the other manager "Karl" said we could get a PA and they all laughed and said, "Oh, Karl doesn't know what he's talking about."

So, be careful. Just because someone said they could do it doesn't mean it will happen. Maybe some people will get lucky and find someone at the service desk who will be able to override the computer and do the PA, but we were told it's definitely not going to happen for us.
