Came home today to an email with the 40% off deluxe rate, which is what I've been hoping for! I called and applied it to my existing reservation at CR (MK View) from 12/21-12/28 AND we added a night to the front end since we were saving so much! After the cost of the extra day, we still saved $718!!!

Note - Before anyone asks...no, the discount does not apply to the whole trip, the pin has the same blackout dates as everyone else. We got discounted for 12/20-12/24 and we're paying rack for 12/25-12/28.

8 days at Disney!

I got our pin by signing up with a new email address, saving 5 vacation offers for the dates we wanted, ordering the DVD and calling them twice to check for a pin. I think the saved vacations is what triggered the pin because the email was "Explore your Disney Resort picks, ***** family!".

I'm soooooo happy we saved A TON!!!

I just wanted to thank the OP. I got an email with that heading on Jan. 7th, read through the info about the WL but did not notice the pin code. Luckily I had not trashed it and when I saw your post I went and really read all the way through to the end. And there it was.........a pin number in the fine print. I have to make reservations by 2/28/2011. If you had not posted your good news I would have missed out and pin codes are too precious to be wasted.

I didn't use a new e-mail address. I did save 4 or 5 trips right after Christmas with different dates and my pin code came on the 7th.

Same for me as for MickyMirth. I didn't use a new email, I just saved 3 or 4 offers after Christmas. About 2 weeks later I got a pin in the mail.

I never would have thought to save my trip offers! We're not going until 2012, but I've been patiently waiting to see if any promotions are coming out for this summer, which would give me hope for next summer.

1 question: Would you be able to book multiple rooms with your code? We are three families going, and since grandma and grandpa are paying, I'd like to save them as much money as possible, if I can.

With a pin you can book more then one room. I book 2 each time I get a pin.

Ironically, I just received a mailer with a code for up to 40% off today. Of course, we aren't going until next year, and the dates I am able to go aren't included , but I GOT ONE ! I may not be able to use it, but I got one !

So I have to say, I became quite spoiled after I received PIN codes for EVERY VACATION I've ever booked (well, that's only 3, but still.)
My first trip to DW was May 2009. I got the PIN for 40% and stayed at the GF...dream come true. The next year, same thing - for my May dates in 2010,allowing me to stay at the GF again!

Then I got one for November, and I booked it but wound up having to cancel it.

I am convinced that my cancellation ruined my lucky streak...because no PIN for this year. And yes, I tried every trick in the book to make it happen. There was no way I could afford to go - and certainly not to the GF!

SO, while perusing the disneyworld.com site one day in wishful thinking, I clicked on the "special offers" on the bottom - and there was a 30% off deluxe for ANYONE!! Woo Hoo the vacation package I booked was $2500 off the price of my "saved offer"!!!

Also the airfare quoted with the package wound up being $700 - but I booked on usairways.com and it was only $92 each way for me and DS14!!

So it's all good.....now, if I can just get a PIN code again, I want to plan a Christmas trip!!
