Got my package today!!

I am so excited!!
I got our package today with our passes, hotel confirmation, flight passes, coupon book and everything down to the bag tags!!

It is getting so real now!!


Now to just get the darn rental car thing figured out.....

I know exactly how you feel! We got our packet on Friday, and got our train tickets yesterday! WOOHOO!! I am so excited too.
I know both of our families will have a blast.
All I have left to do is pack and find some lime green ribbon!

We get into LAX on November 30th. I have never rented a car before, and am finding it to be a real pain in the butt.
Like which one to rent, which company to use, whats the best price....very frustrating!

Any help?!?!

I was curious too! We used Small world, our package stuff will be in our room when we arrive at GC. I was hoping it came in the mail prior to our trip....

When do you guys leave? Does anyone notice a pattern here, we haven't received ours yet and would like to know how long it took everyones to get to them. We are verrrrrry anxious, LOL

Ours is through FunSun Vacations.

Our TA said they usually get them 2 weeks prior to the trip. I went and checked yesterday, just on the off chance they might have got them in and just not called me yet, and they were there!!
YAY!!

It didn't say anything about early entry on it this time, like it did last time. So the TA called the FunSun people, and they said yes, we get it. But, I think everyone can have early entry can't they? Where as last time, we got one more special EE through Funsun. Anyone know? Can everyone have Early Entry?

I booked through disneylands web site so I could receive the commerative certificate that was only available on line. I was told the packages are sent 21 days prior to arrival. We arrive 12/4!

We have a voucher for one EE day. But I believe we may have more opportunities for EE since we are staying at the PPH. Won't count on it but have fingers crossed!

Hi Albertan Mom. I just checked on destina.ca for car rentals and Dollar has a price of $170 Cdn/week for a full size car ($198 Canadian including taxes) for a rental starting Nov. 30. That is a pretty good price - as for the insurance, you can get a rider added to your own car insurance for about $15 that will cover you for rental cars. I like to use Destina as it is a Canadian site and you pay in Cdn dollars - no extra exchange fee on your credit card and no surprises later. Have fun.

We got our package from Disney on Tuesday - so exciting!

I love how it's all divided into different categorized envelopes, and all the envelopes are golden (for the 50th of course) with Tinkerbell on them.

We got our luggage tags and our commemorative 50th anniversary park map too. I'll probably save these as keepsakes.

Now all there's left to do is pack and wait until Dec. 4th arrives so we can GO! I sure hope I don't freeze by then - it's cold up here in Eastern Washington State! We need some southern CA sun!

Thanks for all your car rental advice.
I finally just booked one.
The car rental has been the most stressful thing I have booked yet!
I spent all week checking every web page in the world to try to find the cheapest deal.
I think I did good.

$179 for a Midsize SUV for 9 days from Alamo!!

And one more thing to scratch off my list.
Next:
Find good comfy shoes....
