Got my Learner's permit yesterday.

Yup. Drove around for my second hour with the instructor. We got back to the school parking lot, and he gave me this little pink piece of paper. Basically all I need to do is put my name on it and have my dad sign it and I can drive legally with a licenced adult over 21. I need to get 50 hours of driving in, and I believe I get my level one Licence, which would allow me to drive by myself from like, 6am-10pm or something like that.

Lol. I thought there would be more to driving. I start driving around and I'm thinking, "this is it?".

That 50 hours should go by fast though. If I can convince my mom to let me drive to Cedar Point when she comes up in a few weeks, there is 4-6 hours gone.

I got mine in March, and I have to get 30 hours of driving and take a 5 hr long course before I can get my lisence....I love driving!

Wow, congrats! But I'm still very confused. I'll be 15 this year, and I live in NY, so do I start driving at all when I'm 15 or 16? I'm not getting this. So anyways, congrats again!

I live in NY too. Its confusing, but this is how it goes:
-16-learners permit
-16.5 restricted lisense
-17 full lisense (if you took drivers ed)
-18 full lisense (if you didn't take drivers ed)
