Got my launch tickets

Managed to get some launch tickets for 7th December decided to go for the lunch package too!

I was umming and ahhing over buying tickets .. but we have decided on a meal at Titusville and watch over the water ..whats 3 more miles in the scheme of things

I hope it isn't delayed ..as they so often are... this was another reason for not buying the launch tickets .. as 2 days at KSC would be 2 too many for me

have a great lunch with an astronaut..have you got your questions ready?

sorry to say i wont be there but boy do i wish i were i'd love to see a launch first hand

the last time we went we saw a launch from our villa, it was at 2am and we all stayed up to see it, it was just a big orange line flying through the sky, I imagine that seeing it from the viewing platform at KSC would be amazing. I would love to do that!

I know what you mean - 3 miles won't make much of a difference! I just hope it isn't delayed! We are there until !6th December so fingers crossed! Dh has a list of questions already

I wont be in Kennedy on that day as we are going to MVMCP that night.

I have seen a launch from there before though and it was such an amazing experience!! Well worth all the money and time! Fingers crossed it goes up on time!!

How wonderful, we once saw a shuttle launch from Cocoa Beach and it was a great experience

Ariel Jasmine - where did you go to watch the launch?

We saw the launch from the Space Station - we just happened to be there the day it went up, lucky or what? We were at the Apollo Saturn V Center, and went outside on to the grass to watch. You couldn't see much more than a light in the sky but you could hear the boom, and all in all I thought it was totally magical.
