I got my email today saying that I could print the vouchers. :cool1: I was wondering if these are they type of thing that can only be printed once, or if you can print them again. I say that because we have printer problems often and Im wondering if I should go to a friends house to print them (if they can only have one print). Our printer doesnt print things half the time. I am so nervous- I know that is crazy, but I want to be able to use them without any problems.
I also didnt realize that you would have to bring a BC for the kids to use theirs. I dont remember anyone saying that, but the email says a picture ID for those over 18 and a BC for younger.

It's a pdf file- you can save it to your desktop and print as many times as you like.
You can also bring just a copy of birth certificate for kids

No problem..you can save it. I printed an extra copy as a souvenir.

I have another questin along the same lines.... It askes you which days you plan on using it- do you need to be specific? Like, I want to use mine on this day and my DH's on the next and then DD's the next? We are fairly sure of our touring plans, but things change and I don't want to be stuck not being able to use them.

TIA!

Susan

No doesn't matter

You don't need to enter any date at all.
Yes, you must bring a bc or passport for a child who has a voucher in their name...a copy of the birth certificate is acceptable...you can probably get a copy at your schools office.
If your child is just getting FP's under another person's voucher, they do not need ID..just a ticket of any type to the park. Only the person who's name is on the voucher needs to show ID and, if getting the FP option, must have multi day pass.

I'm going to move this over to our GAD forum.

When you go to Give A Day, Get A Day rules... before signing up, this is what it says:

Questions About Redeeming Your Voucher
What do I need to bring to the theme park to redeem my voucher?

To redeem your ticket at a Walt Disney World® or Disneyland® theme park, you must bring a valid photo ID along with your voucher. Valid ID is one of the following: valid Government Issued Passport, valid Driver's License including a photo, or valid Government Issued Photo ID. For children under 18 who do not have any of the previous listed IDs, a copy of a Birth Certificate is acceptable. School IDs or children security IDs are not deemed Government Issued Photo IDs and will not be accepted. Please note: the Guest whose name is on the voucher must be present at the time of ticket redemption (for example, parents cannot redeem tickets for their children in their absence.)

What if I forget my child's proof of identification when I visit the theme park to redeem his or her voucher?

Unfortunately, a voucher cannot be redeemed without proof of identification for children or adults.

Hope that helps

When I went to print our GAD vouchers, I was asked to input which park we planned to visit (WDW or DL) and which day. (I could have made different choices for each individual volunteer if I desired.) I would think Disney wants at least an idea of when people are planning to show up to redeem their vouchers for marketing data. I chose WDW. The voucher states "If your plans have changed and you would like to redeem this voucher at Disneyland...." etc. so we are not locked into our choices.

The voucher file was downloaded to my computer as a pdf file. I will note that each voucher has a unique bar code and ours are not consecutively numbered.

The grandkids have passports, but do not usually travel with them unless they are going out of the country. (10 and 7)

Will they also take a copy of the passport?
