Got my first pin today - Free ticket upgrade

Not a huge savings but nice if nothing else is offered. We are loyal WDW travelers (2 times a year) and we have NEVER received a pin so I was excited to get our first.

I called and it upgrades base tickets to hoppers with waterpark + option.

I am really hoping for free dining but this works for now.

Awesome! So, if you get a free dining pin, can you add it to the ticket upgrade pin or do you have to choose one or the other?

You usually cannot combine discounts. If the OP did receive a PIN for free dining, she would need to decide which discount is better and go with that one.

I had never heard of it before I recieved it either.

The emial was a thank you for our recent and a "special offer" if we book again by today. The email did not give specifics for what the special offer was. I only found out by calling and giving them my pin #.

If a better code comes out like a room discount or free dining than I would pass on the upgrade - but for now it is all I have so I will keep it.

Wow, that's an interesting offer. Great deal for a big family! I'm surprised at how many *different* offers Disney has put out there. I'm just really pleased with my room discount.
