Got my first 3 ADRs!

I love talking to Disney!!

I called jsut after 12 and didn't have to wait at all.

My girl was called Marge and was very nice. I gave her my UK res # but (obviously) it didn't work, so she took my details and then put me on hold for a few minutes.

(Best hold ever!!! I had the MK train and then an ace song, LOVED it!)

Then she came back and gave me my US# and we got started:

I wanted Sci Fi for 12pm on Sat 3rd Oct - got 12.05

Kona Cafe for 7pm on the 5th. Got 7.10

And got Boma for 10.30am on the 10th, exactly the time I wanted!



I have a few more to get, so will do them the start of next week.

(FYI - I tried to retrieve my reservtions online adn it's not showing them. Does anyone know if the telephone code matches the internet code for you dining res #?)

That's great! Just wondering though, how come you haven't made ADRs for the first 10 days?

Regarding your question, I haven't tried to retrieve mine online so I have no idea. Sorry!

We aren't on DDP, and we aren't huge eaters so we only want a few ADRs. So they are all we want i our first 10 days.

Well, I have also booked T-Rex also. We'll have 8 ADRs for our 2 weeks trip, which is plenty of sit down meals for me!

Ah, I just assumed you were on the DDP as you're going in October! DBF and I are on it for September (not free, mind!). I'm a bit anxious about the 13 sit-down meals we'll be having, so I totally get where you're coming from! I'm thinking of booking T-Rex too (it looks fun!), but that would take our total to 14 sit-downers...

Alos it's our first trip and we didn't want our entire trip dictated by reservation times.

For our honeymoon though we're going to probably do DDP.

When we considered it for this trip though I was literally factoring in every 2 credit restaurant so we didn;t have as many meals to get to! lol.

It's my first trip with DBF too but thankfully he's very much into his food- he will eat mine if I can't stomach it! We're spending two days (one night) at Universal and having one full day shopping so I struggled to squeeze all the credits in. God knows how those on DxDDP cope!! Well, for the first two days (Sept. 11th and 12th), I've not made any reservations. This is just so we can "settle in" before embarking on our mad food adventure! Here are our plans anyway:

Sun 13th- Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic! Package- 3.30pm (I wanted Mama Melrose but, despite the bad press on here, I enjoyed H&V last year so this is fine!)
Mon 14th- Boma- 6.05pm
Tues 15th- Yak & Yeti- 12pm
Weds 16th- Universal
Thurs 17th- Universal
Fri 18th- Le Cellier- 6.55pm
Sat 19th- The Wave- 12pm; Restaurant Marrakesh- 6pm
Sun 20th- Tutto Italia- 12pm; CRT- 7.35pm
Mon 21st- Boma- 9.10am; Sci-Fi Dine-In- 6.35pm
Tues 22nd- 'Ohana- 5pm
Weds 23rd- Tusker House- 9.35am (shopping day)
Thurs 24th- Crystal Palace- 5.30pm
Fri 25th- possible T-Rex lunch
