Got my Entertainment book-help please?

I got my Orlando Entertainment book today. Which offers should I look for to use during our vacation?

34747 is what I used. This is a huge book, but I'm not familiar with most of the restaurants. So, I have this great book, and can't use it lol. BTW, I ordered it on the 11th, and it came in todays mail!!

Hi Wendi,
The offers that you use from the Orlando Entertainment book are going to be dependent on what you'll be doing and where you'll be going.

There's car rental discounts if you'll be renting a car. I'm partial to National because I'm an Emerald Aisle member (let's me skip the counter) and there are several coupons for $20 off a weekly rental, free one- & two-car class upgrades, free weekend day, etc. That alone could save you the cost of the book.

Then there are entertainment coupons like the Arabian Nights or Medieval Times Dinner Theaters. You can get discounts on miniature golf, Magical Midway, Gatorland, Sky Venture, the Titanic Exhibit and Wonder Works.

There are coupons for fast food and fine dining.

The problems with using the book arise when you are staying onsite and have no access to transportation offsite. Then, you're pretty limited to whatever is offered within the confines of Disney property. In that case, you can get one free enrtrée with a paid entrée at Baskerville's in the Grosvenor (a DtD-area hotel) or Disney's AllStar Café in the WWoS by showing your card.

You can also get discounts on Universal Tcickets, Sea World Tickets and Busch Gardens Tickets, but they are not as good as the discounts offered by ticketbrokers.

Ok we are staying off-sit and iI was thinking about getting the book. I have it for the NJ where we live and I use it all the time. My question is are there family restaurants in the area that I would benefit from???? I can order the book for 10$ and ship free so the cost is no concern but being able to use it in the area is my only reservation. Hope that someone can help

Ok how dose the book help with the airline flights? how much do I save and how much is the book? What airline is it any way?

The book has a TON of restaurants in it. My problem is that I dont know where anything is, or what is good, and in he medium price range.

There are also amany hotel discounts (but I think they are cheaper elsewhere), and car rental coupons. As far as the airline, I see United discounts. I know i can get my money's worth out of it, and it is very valuable, however, it will take some research to benefit the most. I wish there was one available for my area.

There are a lot of restaurants and entertainment venues along International Drive that have coupons in the book. If you're staying on I-Drive, you should have no problem finding a few participating restaurants. Here's a link to a list of the many restaurants that the I-Ride Trolley stops at along I-Drive. You should be able to find several of them in your Orlando Entertainment Book.

The only other advise that I can offer you would be to check the locations of restaurants that may interest you in relationship to your hotel. You can do this by using Mapquest.com and entering the address of your hotel and the address of the restaurant. Once you've narrowed down your choices, you can then post a question here to see if anyone has eaten at any of them.

DH wants to try to eat at Texas De Brazil he read about it somewhere. Would you be so kind as to see if there is a coupon in the ORLANDO book for that particular restaurant? If the book is $10.00 and the coupon is for more or a buy on get one free type of thing it may be worth buying as there are 5 of us. Thank you so much in advance! Good luck!

I did not see Texas de Brazil in the book, however I think you can go to the entertainment website and do a search as there may be an online coupon.

As far as mapping, I found out that my Microsoft Streets and Trips shows restaurants!!! This is an awesome program. I doubt it has all of them, but it's showing many around the hotel and is showing Crossroads. If nothing else, there are plenty of fast food coupons in the book. I dont want to live on fast food while we are there, but I'm sure we'll use a couple of those. If nothing else, this book is helpful in learning what is in Orlando/Kissimmee, etc as far as food choices.There is a coupon for B1G1F for a restaurant in DTD (All Star). We will probably use it.

If I remember correctly, I drive is very congested. We are staying in the 7000 block of 192. How difficult will it be to get to I drive?

I bought 2- 1 for my area and 1 for Orlando. My area is an absolute waste- there isn't one darn restaurant in my town or surrounding towns- oh they are in my county, but 45 min to an hour away.

I had higher hopes for the Entertainment Book. Maybe if I had a family I would have found something. But now that we are thinking about only renting a car for a couple days or not at all I dont think I will end up using this book at all, except maybe one of the National coupons.

I think the best thing you can do is investigate online at www.entertainmentbook.com and look at what available to you, be sure you will use the coupons.

I want one of these books, but I am having troubles with my internet, , and am unwilling to put my credit card # on the net . Is there an option on the website that enables me to send a money order? My family is going to WDW in November, and this would probably help to save us alot of money.
