Hi everyone,

today I finally got to register my daughter in the Kids club for 8-12 year olds. Now it's only 9 weeks and a couple of days till our cruise yoehoooooooooooooo.

Can anyone tell me what we have to do when we arrive do we go to the club to get the payer or do you get them at the terminal.

Thanks.

Ok, some terminology here. I hope you registered you daughter in the Oceaneer's Lab. The only thing accomplished on line is filling out the forms. Every child on board the ship has a guaranteed registration spot in the club or lab (age appropriate). I'm only saying this because I don't want other people to read the thread and think there is a problem or rush to register kids like there is for Palo or Spa ressies.

When you board--and after you've had time to relax, etc. you go to the Lab and pick up a wristband and pager. There is no rush to do this. Go to lunch first, etc.

I would really suggest that your daughter go to the meet and greet session on the first night. It's a good time for the kids to get to know each other and sets the tone for the cruise.

So you can register your children before you even leave home? Cool! How far in advance of sailing do you get the information for doing that?

Thanks.

Concierge guests can do registrations and reservations at 105 days. Returning guests (Castaway Club) at 90 days
First timers at 75 days.

The ressies are a big deal, but don't get disappointed. DCL holds back some ressies so that if it is "full" on the internet, you still have a chance after you board.

As to registration...you can do it on line, at the terminal, or in the club and lab after you board. There is no real advantage to doing it on line except that you will save a little time. You will still need to go to the club/lab to get the child's wristband and your beeper.

Thanks for the info. We're at 140 days out as of today (assuming I can add in my head - LOL). I was thinking that the more "paperwork" kinds of things we can do in advance, the quicker it will be after we're onboard for getting the kids their wristbands, etc.
