Got my DisneyDirect.com cooler today

I love it. It's carry on size for our flight down and it rolls for getting on the ship. I'm so excited about this. Plus it will be great when we go to the beach labor day weekend. I highly recommend this cooler. It's $19.99 on disneydirect.com but there's a code on mousesavers.com for 10% off.

Scorpio1112 - it would hold at least two 12 packs if not more. I don't have any cans so I don't actually know. It's a good size. Also it holds down very nicely with velcro to keep it holded down. We plan on putting some stuff into as our carry-on for the flight and then once we get to cocoa beach for the night fill it with drinks/wine.

I ordered one last week. Mine was shipped yesterday. I am thinking about using it in September. I have not made up my mind yet. It is 15'H, 14'W, 12'D. If that helps anyone. Do not forget to use the Mousesavers code. It saves you 10%.

Has anyone found that the handle is a little short? I'm not really all that tall, but it seems like I have to bend over to reach the handle to roll it. (my SIL has one that she's letting me borrow in Sept) I'm going to borrow it, but I was wondering if anyone else noticed this?

Yes I agree, the handle is short! I was thinking about having DD pull it or trying to figure out some way to lengthen it. Any ideas?

I'm 5'1 and the handle comes up to my bellybutton. At first when I pulled it out it stopped above my knee and I had to really pull it to come up more. There's two sections that come out. Its the same height as my other carry-on rolling bags.

Am i missing something about drinks, I thought drinks were included in the disney cruise pricing. I can understand having a cooler to take on the beach at Castaway Cay, but why carry on drinks on the ship. I just got back from Carnival and we were in NO way allowed to carry on drinks even if they were sealed.

Some people have "preferred brands" such as Pepsi or other non Coca-Cola brand soft drinks. Others have preferred beer or wine brands not sold on the ship.

Personally I like the small plastic bottles of Coke to keep on ice - VERY COLD - in my stateroom since I don't drink coffee but seem to be a little addicted to Coke first thing in the morning.
