I went to JoAnne this morning, and they had 5 of the personal Cricuts left for $59.99...so excited! Then I used a coupon on a kids Singer sewing machine (50% off one regular priced item). Didn't see any fleece on sale, but hopefully another fleece sale will come up soon! Then headed over to Michaels where I used my gift card to buy a Cricut cartridge on sale, and some other gifts. I got 3 $5 off cards to use next week...so I will be back next week to stock up on gift baskets!

Target: Got the Elmo Memory game for $3.99 for 2 yo ds. Got a Justin Beiber CD for dd $9.99 (regular price). And the Diary of a Whimpy Kid DVD for other dd (on sale for $9.99).

:thumbsup2

I bought a Cricut Expression about 2 weeks ago for $175. I was originally going to wait for the BF sales, but someone had it listed on Craigslist. It was brand-spanking-new, the box hadn't even been opened, and that meant I didn't have to face the hoards on BF! :thumbsup2

Have fun with it! I haven't had much time to experiment yet, but hopefully tomorrow and Sunday I'll be playing quite a bit.

I also bought a few cartridges on eBay. They seem to be quite a bit cheaper there.

I love my Cricuts. Definately check the ebay listings for cartridges, you can get some good deals.

I bought the Joanne's one online for my dad to give to mom for christmas. It was a good thing I did because by the time I got to either Michael's or Joanne's yesterday they were sold out. I was at Joanne's again this morning and they didn't get anymore in.

Glad you got yours too! I'm feeling pretty lucky that my store had enough...the Michael's however had nothing left of their Cricuts on sale.

Congrats! I love my Cricut, I'm sure you will too! Look at custom crops for cartridges, they tend to have very good deals on a regular baisis and also check out the crafting/scrapbooking forum here on the Dis! There are tons of cricut users on there who could answer any questions that you might come up with about your cricut.

I got mine too! Well, I should say my husband did. He got me the Expression from Menards for $148 and three of the cartidges at $19.99 each. He waited in line for 3 hours. Hurry up Christmas!

Anyone have one of the Cricut Cake machines? DW has hinted that this would be a good Christmas present.

Cricut drama here! Help!!!

So, as I told you, I got the Cricut for $59.99 this morning. I had asked dh to get me a Cricut for Xmas, but he said it was too expensive to buy cartridges and said I should get the Robo Cut because it worked with your computer so that you could design your own images. Then he said, oh you will never use the Cricut anyways.

I looked at the Cricut and told him the Robocut wasn't portable, wasn't simple enough, and I wouldn't use it. He asked me at that point if I was going to go out to get it, after saying "fine, go and get it then" in an irritated tone.

So when he found out I got it this morning, he was mad at me. He said, nice way to ruin Christmas by buying your own present! So, I was irritated, and went and got the receipt and said, ok, well then you can return it and do what you want for my gift, if it's going to upset you so much. He took the receipt. He did go to the store (Menards) yesterday and this morning (Menards plus a few others...gone a long time), but he never said he was gift shopping :confused3.

So, I have no idea if he got me a Cricut, if he intends to get me a Cricut, or if he is going to get me the RoboCut, which I don't want. I don't know if he will actually take my Cricut back or not, not sure if he's going to tell me. He asked me if someone I knew wanted the Cricut. I said no, most of my friends already have one. But now after being so excited at my Cricut deal, I am going crazy not knowing if he's going to give it to me for Christmas or take it back! Aaah!

After he goes to sleep tonight get his keys and go check his trunk...lol then you will know. :rotfl:
