I got 4 of those today plus one saying the same thing but saying it was from my credit card company.
My norton virus did NOT pick them up even though my virus definitions are up to date. I just deleted them all.
Virus's are running rampant out there!!!!

The messages do not necessarily contain a virus, most likely they are trying to get you to give your bank account information, including your PIN for your debit card.

Please, under no circumstance, click on the link provided and fill in the information. Pay Pal, E-Bay, and other on line auctions NEVER send out email asking for this information. If you are not sure, go to ebay and ask, there is a link provided in the FAQ area (I think it's spoof@ebay.com but I am not 100% sure) that you can forward the message to. If you do happen to fall for this scam, you will find your bank account wiped out, and then some.

I have seen this scam run another way - You have won a DVD, Laptop, or some other great prize, just follow this link. Again, they ask for your debit card number to pay for the shipping, and then they ask for the PIN.

NEVER NEVER NEVER give your PIN to anyone, in person, over the phone, or on the WWW. A legit business will not ask for it.
