Man, if only I could get my brother to help me play lol... I don't think he'd deign to though --- he'd consider it beneath a 27 year old man to play a Disney game. He laughs at me all the time for it considering I'm not that much younger than him lol

It worked for me on my old crappy, slow Mac. Shutting off the sound makes you able to move the view finder faster and the boat moves faster. The boat moving faster on its own is a good thing because the gas usage is on a timer. A faster boat (without using up arrow key) uses less gas.

A couple other things to try... Set your mouse tracking to fastest and set your mouse double click to something fairly fast but slow enough that you can double click in that amount of time.

Oh, the animals appear in the same places every time so get used to the patterns.

I confess, Jungle Cruise is the only game I was able to play well on my Mac. I got way too good at playing it.

Ok, I am now banging my head on wall, I know my MAC is slower than my DH laptop,which i have been using to play VMK, but I was only hurting myself with my slow mouse
(Secretly wanting the new intel macs since now you can have both OS, Windows XP and OSX, best of both worlds) !

I cheked my mouse after reading this post, OMG... It was almost on slowest, No wonder I was going so slow playing the HM game.

Now where did I leave my Computer fairy dust to do some more fixes on this old thing.

It took my 79 hours to finally get my Suit and Bubble. I had myself dancing in the middle of the Shrinking Room, wearing a Red Space Suit.

thats how i play every game. my dad is very good at steering the boat and i can click on things really fast.

Do you ever get anything special other than 20 credits for playing Jungle Cruise? I got to the 30,000 mark but should I bother going further?

Yes. If you reach the top 10 list, you get 750 credits. For the first time you reach it, you get a coupon for a tent room.
But you get the 750 credits every time you reach it. Which is why sometimes you may see my name there a couple times.


It's also very true that if you turn off all the vmk sounds in the game (not just on your pc) that it helps to move you faster. The sound uses a lot of resources on your computer. And an upside is you don't have to hear Ned's annoying remarks while playing JC.
Otherwise, the other tips given in this thread are pretty much all you need. Just practice a little.

Just go to the test driving track and drive on it. When you pick up like 3 gas cans, you then get your license to drive the other two tracks.
