Got into BWV!! And question...

Just got off the phone with MS and got my May trip moved from a SSR one bedroom to a one bedroom at BWV standard view!! Cost less points and now a few are actually going to expire...but I'm SO excited! Just closed in late Feb on our DVC and booked a trip with only 3 months, and got into BWV on a holiday weekend!

One question though..we have ADRs at Chef Mickeys REALLY early one of the mornings, at 7:20 am. How can we get from BWV to CR if Epcot is not open? We had trouble with this in Nov when we stayed at FW and tried to get to the Poly for a ADR, a resort bus actually ended up making a special trip for us.

Congratulations getting a standard view room on such short notice. As for getting to the CR for breakfast, I would suggest taking a cab. It will take about 15 minutes vs anything else you use. There are always cabs hanging around there waiting.

Hope you enjoy the BWVs as much as we do and the 1br is great! As for the bus service to the MK, we have always found it to be wanting from the BWVs. With that being said, I would certainly check at the concierge desk to find out exactly what time the 1st bus will be arriving. You should allow yourself at least 45 min. to an hour to get there. I do know we have had early ADRs in the past at MK and were able to get a bus but then it was at a resort that didn't share a bus with other resorts as the BWVs do. If you don't have a car, I would consider taking a cab depending on what time they tell you the first bus arrives in the morning. Good luck!

I am so glad that you posted this information! I just called MS and moved our 1BR at AKV for May 16-21 to a standard view 1BR at BWV! They also had preferred 1BR rooms available for that entire week as well.

I cannot beleive both you and the OP were able to move to Standard 1 Brdrms at 3.5 months! That is so awesome. Have an Great Trip!!

Someone posted on another thread that MS told them there has been a lot of cancellations for the month of May. It was speculated that rising fuel costs might be part of the cause.

Someone posted on another thread that MS told them there has been a lot of cancellations for the month of May. It was speculated that rising fuel costs might be part of the cause.

This makes sense. I had only upgraded our studio at Kidani to a 1BR last week. The CM said at that time that both standard and savannah view 1BRs were available for that entire week at Kidani. I never thought to check at BCV or BWV last week because I assumed that those two resorts would never have availability this late!

We are super excited to try BWV. It will be our first stay there. We will have a car so are not worried about the bus situation.
