got email with higher rate

I finally got an email for May (first code email at work email address, got 1 email and 1 postcard last year at home email/home address), but the email says rates for values starting at $84 per night (for 4/17 to 7/4). I've seen others post with their email code starting at $74 per night, so we'll see how good a rate I can get for deluxes. I'm on hold right now while she is trying to figure out the offer, she says she can't find it, wish me luck!

Maybe there are different codes and Pins for different geographic/demographic areas?

Yeah, that's weird. I have a code for a value in may for $59 a night. I didn't get a postcard or e-mail, but I wonder if it's because they have my old e-mail address or something. I just called and they had that discount attached to my name.

I also received and e-mail today, although, it was for a value room with dates 10/5/05-11/26/04 for full rack rate...99$ a night. I was so excited to see the e-mail, and crushed with the price. Although, I didn't expect any discount codes for our trip to come my way yet.

Is this some indication that I might receive a true offer closer to our time of travel? I haven't booked anything yet using our AAA discount. We are pretty firm on POR. I have called a couple times to get quotes.

Rates weren't as good as what I've seen others post with their codes, but I'll take it for now LOL. Still hoping that I'll get a better rate if AP rates are released, or some other code. I booked WL Courtyard view (no standard or woods available) for 5/22 for 8 nights for $174 per night, total $1552 with taxes for 8 nights. Rack rate is $300 so not too bad, but I was hoping to get WL for under $150. Other rates I was quoted (before taxes):

WL Concierge: $321
POFQ Standard: $99
CR Garden View Only King bed available: $225

I just got my 1st email ever from them this morning and it said something like:
Since you've already experienced the magic of our Value resorts here is your chance to try our Moderates at a special rate of $114 a nite plus tax. and gave me a special code for that rate. Dates it was good were 4/17-7/4. But i didn't think that rate sounded so great to me!

Of course we just got back in Nov. and aren't going again till next winter so it didn't really matter. I sure would have loved an email code from them last fall!!! I waited and waited for one then but got nothing!
