got BWV 2BR at 7 mos for early Dec

Called MS at 9am sharp today (my 7 month mark) and got @BR for 12/4-12/9. I wanted standard view for the fewer points but I settled (hardly) for preferred view and waitlisted for standard. Either way -- YIPEE!

We're getting in on the 10th.

As far as the mixers go, I sure do hope they have them again. We had a GG last year and had no time to stop by. (They were held in (or by) Epcot, free to members (guests too I think), and had characters, food, pictures and they looked like fun! I think they were held once a week, on Tuesdays, maybe, for about two hours, between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Bobbi, do you know when they announce info for the mixers? I remember reading about it on the website, but this was after the fact, I wasn't a member during the time the mixers were held. I would sure love to go to one! I hope they aren't on Tuesdays this year if they have them, got tickets for MVMCP on the Tuesday I'm there. Are they in the afternoon or at night?

athenna, I think the time was like 4PM until 6 or 6:30. We had 5PM Fantamic package ressies at Mama Melrose's that day, and although at one time I thought DH and I could stop by for maybe 1/2 hour, but we didn't! I know people always say, "we don't go commando anymore, we are DVC, or we have AP," but this time we seriously gave "going commando style" some thought, but we didn't!

PS. As far as when they were announced, it really was close to the events, maybe in November's newsletter. For our GG I only scheduled 1 major event each day, and Tuesday was MGM's day!
