Got BLT for the marathon!

Today was the 7 month mark for my marathon reservation. Wanted BLT because of the convenience of the monorail (previous experience with marathon buses has been spotty at best). Actually wasn't expecting to get it, but I was able to book a Bay Lake view studio for the nights I wanted (MK and standard views were not available, though).

The monorail makes it very easy to get to the start of the half marathon and full marathon. Enjoy your stay.

My sister is running & she wanted to know if the monorail would take to Epcot at 5 am.

If she is running, she'll need to leave a lot earlier. I know I rode the monorail to the MK after the start, but not before. She needs to check at the expo to make sure it runs at 4AM. She will have to switch to the Epcot monorail at the TTC and that takes time.

Yes, the monorail does start running early enough to get to the marathon start - I have done it in years past, but prefer staying at DVC resorts so I've been dealing with the buses the last few years. I'm not sure exactly what time it starts, but its no later than 3AM. Nice to have a DVC monorail option now.
