Hi, I got my disney bill today, and it said 1400 now the lady on the phone told me 1100 something? Tax doesn't even add up to that much? i called and she said she can't get an itemized list since its a package? we are staying at the port orleans riverside and she really talked me into this because it was only like 400 more for us to get into the parks for the whole 7 days. Hotel rate under the code was 85 i think? should I cancel this and do the code, was it BDP? HELP. I want to straighten this out soon? or am I better off still this way being I'm travelling alone with two kids under age 5 so we can take our time in the parks? HELP me!! thanks

Hi. Are you on the dream maker package? That's a pretty good price for 7 nights at POR with UPH tix and the few minor extras with the package. But, if you were quoted one price and your bill comes it at another, you need to call back and verify what you are paying for. Did they add in trip insurance? That may be the $200 plus tax making up the difference. Pull your paperwork back out and see what is included in the price.

I know you will have a great time. Just you and your girls - How fun!!

I had billing problems with my 2003 trip, call Guest Relations immediately and get it straightened now, don't wait till you check in to fix the problem. Make sure before you call you have the name of who you spoke with and the time you called plus any codes you used, be firm with them and don't let them get out of their orginal quote and get a supervisor involved if necessary. $400 is alot of money don't let sloppy billing methods wreck your trip. I spoke with Carlos at Guest Relations and he was very professional.

Is it possible that she quoted you $400 more for the package but neglected to mention that it was per person? Most dreammaker packages are based on double occupancy. I've been on these boards for 3 months and I still can't decide what is going to suit our needs and budgets for Dec. 2005. It can get confusing- I hope you can get it straightened out at the price you want.:wizard: Have some pixie dust for luck!!!

Usually package rates are quoted with tax. You said it's you and 2 kids. The difference could possibly be that one of your kids is being charged as an adult because the rates assume 2 adults in the room, then small extra charges for the kids.

I think you are right that she was charged as an adult. anyhow I found out if I booked the room seperate it was only $663 for 7 nights. We are doing the luau the first night so we won't need any park tickets, also the last day who needs park tickets. So i'm going to get the 6 days park hoppers at approx. $550 with tax!!! Making it $1213 saving me $200 dollars not the $1100 i was quoted but still good:-) actually this will be nicer because we won't be going to any waterparks so this feature will still be good our next trip on our park hoppers, so we were paying for this feature on our dreammaker, and I could care less to eat at Planet Hollywood for the $25 gift card! THANKS for the great replies you really helped me!

When are you going, I used the BDP Code and I am paying $117 a night, you got the room for $90. You must just be missing Peak Season.
