Had perfect weather all week (OK, so it rained Friday, who cares?). Stayed at POFQ (I will never stay any where else). Had great food and fun times:cool1: Any one have any questions:confused3 Just ask. Glad I was coming home Sunday instead of checking in, the crowds were really getting huge.

Good to hear you had a good vacation.

I had friends staying at POP and my bus service was better. Only 1 time did I have to wait for a second bus going back in the evening. The stops were mostly in close and from MK, POFQ has it's own bus after 3.

Later in the week the crowds were HUGE. When we got there Saturday, things were somewhat quiet. We got all of the major things done by Wednesday and it's good that we did because Thursday was when they started building.

Sounds like it was a great time. Glad you got to do all your major things before the crowds. We're going Apr. 22-28 to BWV (Sun - Sat) and I'm getting nervouse about the crowds for traveling, check-in, etc, not to mention the parks. Hopefully that last week of April things will be settling back down a bit. What do you all think?:confused3

I would think that this week and next will be the worse. Then things should be at least a little quieter. I was surprised to see several conventions last week going into this week.

How were the rooms at POFQ and how was Mousekeeping? I have read some reports on allearsnet lately that some were having really bad service at POFQ which bothers me since we are going in June. (I know probably the worst time of the year to go, but when you have a kid in school you have to do what you have to do!)

The rooms were really clean and mousekeeping was great! I even had towel things done 2 days:cool1:

We visited POFQ on our last trip and I loved it. DH and the kids weren't as impressed, except wth the pool. Have you stayed at other resorts, and if so what made POFQ better in your opinion? Thanks.

Just wondering the same thing. Will be checking into POFQ for the first time May 9th.

I've stayed at POR (when it was Dixie Landings), CR, POP, ASSports and off-site. The size and the buses alone are 2 things I really enjoyed. I was in building 1 and it was 5 minutes to food court, laundry, hot tub, pool, buses, and boats. I never had more than a 10 minute wait on the buses and POFQ is always the first stop.

Hi Marilyn! Glad you enjoyed POFQ!! I'm planning to stay there for the first time in September! Just my DH and me - without the kids! :woohoo: They are older teens and don't want to go anyhow,

(I see you are from Akron, we're from Cleveland area!) :goodvibes

The weather is horrible, isn't it?! snowing like crazy here!

I just got home sunday too and I stayed at POP...had no problems at all with the buses, but I do agree with you that the crowds really started picking up there towards the end of the week...:scared1:
Hope your trip was as good as ours...I am already ready to go back. Went from 85 and perfect everyday, to yep, you guessed it...We got snow today!

We've also stayed at POFQ Blg 1 and really enjoyed it. We've stayed there twice. :thumbsup2

POFQ rocks:cool1: I just booked airfare for October trip $183/round trip from Akron/Canton to Orlando on Delta.
