Got back to Manchester Airport last Sunday morning.

Not really wanted to talk to anybody about my holidays. I can't believe it is all over.

I planned all kinds of things, meals with mickey, pooh, shamou, all days planned where and when we would go to places.

All went perfectly. I knew it was going to be good, but my holiday expectation got smashed. We had an amazing time, we even managed to get a cancelation at Cinderalla's Royal Table.

To see my 2 year old daughters face as she saw snow white at epcot for breakfast was worth the total holiday money in itself.

Hopefully, I will be able to pull myself around in the next couple of days and let you know how it went.

If you have any questions about my holiday please just ask. I stopped a the Liki Tiki resort on the 192. My holiday was from 9 - 23 April. And it was just amazing. Over 400 pictures and 9 hours videoing. It was great.

If you have booked to go to WDW this year, you will have a magical time.....

Welcome Home

I'm so pleased that you and your family had such a good time

It is quite depressing when you first get back, but once you get your photos developed and video done, you'll be reliving it all again

I know it may sound a bit drastic, but one way to get over it would be to 'Book another Holiday' - LOL :rotfl:

I'm looking forward to hearing about your trip

Hi whiskey in a vase

I got back last saturday and am feeling very much the same as you!

I just can't quite come down from the clouds and although I'm back at work and looking forward to summer I can't escape the memories.

I am talking about rollercoasters and Shamu and Perkins breakfasts to anyone who will listen. :rotfl:

Hopefully writing up the trip reports will help - if not perhaps I can get away with using Tesco clubcard points to book a DLP trip to put off the inevitable return to Orlando. :confused3

It was great though wasn't it! :flower:

Hello Whisky, It is an awful feeling when you get back, I remember feeling like I was going to cry at the airport on the way home, when we came back in Oct03. We didn't even look forward to Christmas that year! But we are going again this Oct after convincing my mum and dad to come with us, so sharing cost of villa and car hire. Hopefully it will be just as good second time round and I will already know what to expect when we return.

I think everyone feels the same as you when you come home from such a fantastic holiday. It is the only thing I am dreading about the holiday.

However, you have been to the best holiday place on Earth. You will more than likely go again. Now share your trip report with us, so we can all share your happy memories. Relive them, enjoy them and be thankful you have been there. :)

We have all been there so you are not alone. Talk to us about your holiday, I am sure everyone here would love to listen to you.

There was only one way to get over a holiday to WDW and that is to buy into DVC.

I did it in October and everytime I get sad I just say to myself I am a DVC member and am going back to WDW every year for 49 years!

Hope you can book another one soon

Since arriving back I have been a little depressed. Then my brother got married last weekend which was good. He then went to Florida for his honeymoon.......... So all the memories started coming to the front of my mind. So I spoke to the wife and yes I have done it......Yes I have gone and done it.

I have booked 2 weeks at Pop Century for my daughter, wife and myself...

For September 2005, yes that is in 17 weeks today actually.................

To say I have cheered up is an understatement. I am already counting down the days...................................

Working out my itinery again...........Here we go again............

I still havent had time to do my trip report but I will..............

Now that's how to get over your holiday blues - book again :rotfl:

Nice one Whisky :)

Hi all,

Yes got the same feelings here..Got back on 25th April..less than 2 weeks ago but it feels like a lifetime already! Been searching all available sites to try and find a cheap option to go back soon. Haven't even visited the boards as I felt it to depressing listening to others with not long to go. But hey it was wonderful, first visit and it won't be the last..Even my son said he won't have any pocket money so we can save to go again and he's only 6!!

Hope everyone thats going soon has as magical time as we did. :wave2:

I really know how you feel. I started to write my trip report when I got back, but then had to step away from the boards and everything Disney for a good couple of months as it made me so miserable not knowing when I'd be going back. Well, the best cure really is planning another trip. I decided to take DD5 away next October for half-term and have started looking at prices etc. All of a sudden, I have come back to the DIS, started writing those reports again and the world seems right again.

Even if you know you can't go back for a couple of years, just set a date and give yourself a goal. It worked for me. Don't rush it, you will come around to feeling ok again (sorry, all sounds a bit serious, but thats really how I felt about it) Someone, help me get a life :rotfl:

See the beauty of TCD is that I will be spending another two weeks in WDW (Still can't believe we have booked again) for the same price as a week in Cyprus.

If I had booked my first holiday with Virgin we would have had no chance of being able to visit again 19 weeks later. Ok the flights may not be as comfortable as Virgin, but they were ok.

Here I am now counting down the days.................I keep thinking I am dreaming, but I am really going........................

I can honestly say, I can't wait............
