Got approved! Questions?

We just got back from a trip to Moon Palace in Cancun (no kids) to find out in the mail that our financing for SSR has been approved! I was a little worried about it a few weeks ago. The letter stated we were approved and getting our finally papers in a few weeks.
So how long did you have to wait for the final closing after the finance approval? I think our closing date was April 1st.
When did you get permanent membership cards in the mail?
Will Disney Store take your temporary cards for the discount or do you have to have plastic cards?

You should be able to make ressies right now!! Just call MS, and they will have you listed under your Social Security number. You can't actually travel until the closing takes place, but once your financing is approved, so are you, and your're good to go! Welcome Home!

As to your question about using the temporary card at the Disney Store...I had no problem making purchases with it. Good luck!

Yes, the Disney Store will take your temporary cards for the discount. All they need is your account number, which they can enter by hand just as easily as swiping. I like that the 10% discount also applies to movies, which rarely go on sale at the Disney Store.
