Got AOA Free Dining!!!

Just switched my 3 POP rooms in September to Art of Animation with the free dining!!! Little Mermaid rooms and the first day that section opens. So excited!!!

Hmmm, I called recently and decided to book 10/1-10/4 since I was told that the AOA would not qualify for free dining? Anyone else try?

I see....The mermaid rooms only come up for 15-22 for fd...not my dates...maybe soon they will add more dates/

If you view the Free Dining offer on the Disney website it no longer says "excluding Art of Animation". I checked my dates and it showed Little Mermaid, Lion King Suites and Family Suites. I called and was able to switch over all 3 of my rooms.

wish the standard rooms where..i don't want a suite! I would take 2 normal rooms though..

I would keep checking daily to see if other dates become available. I didn't realize that I was lucky and they were only good for my arrival date. I checked about 10 different dates and although Lion King and Family Suites how up I don't see Little Mermaid on any other date. I would guess either they will remove it from my arrival date or they'll add other dates in. A week ago I posted that I saw free dining for the Family Suites and went to the dentist and came back and they were no longer showing up at all. Didn't see anybody post that they got it. Today I check (as I do a time or 2 every day in hopes of getting it) and noticed the "excludes Art of Animation" wording was gone. I check my dates and there was the Little Mermaid section as well as 2 other suites. I called right away and switched no problem. I'm guessing more will show up or they'll remove Little Mermaid altogether but at least I'm locked in now.

Good for you. I couldn't't understand why they were excluded to begin with. I had no problems getting a royal room at for my dates at POR and those are new also. You could also get AOA with the bounceback last year.

*Hoping* that if FD is offered for the fall & winter this year, it will include AoA then as well. We'd love to stay in the LK or the Nemo suites.
If not, we'll stick with 2 rooms at POP. But my 3 year old is in love with the pictures of AoA.

Congratulations!! I am staying there in Aug and now it is available for FD too...but I already bought our YES tickets. Oh well. Maybe next year. I wonder what the chances of them having any room discounts will be for Aug? Do they ever do room only discounts in Aug? Fingers crossed.

Does anyone know, if you buy the package to get FD, can you just save the tickets for a later date? Do they ever expire if you don't use them? Can I ask a CM at check in to not put them on our key cards? Just wondering. I have 8 day tickets already and I need to buy 2 to get fd. Don't know if it is worth it for sure yet, but if I could save the 2 day tickets, it might be. Thanks.

I had been checking everyday to see if they added AOA to FD ever since I noticed that they added AOA to the list of resorts to pick from. I had not checked yet for today until I saw your post. Glad you were able to get AOA. Hopefully that will add the next week. My dates are 20-29 so fingers crossed.

Yep, you can just save them. It's up to you if you want to remove them from your KTTW card or not. If you leave the tickets on them, just write with a Sharpie that you have tickets on them so you don't throw them away by accident.

Thanks for letting us know about the free dining. That makes me SOOOOOO excited. We're going in Dec and I'm still hoping for a FD offer then. Makes me have some hope. We will book AoA anyway, but FD sure does sound nice. Has anyone booked a suite with FD?

I was able to book a Lion King Suite this afternoon for late September.

So, I'm hopeful this will be offered for December as well!
