These were very popular childrens books and also a television series.
I'm after a particular one, a friend at work was at the filming of the TV episode and he took the same photo as the books cover. He lent the book out and never got it back, it's the only one missing from his collection. I've searched on the Net but I need to establish the correct title first. The front cover is Barbara Winsdor & Jon Pertwee, she is leaning out as the figurehead of The Golden Hind. There is an episode/book called this but he doesn't think it's the one he's after.
I contacted a seller with Worzel & the Saucy Nancy, he described the cover but it didn't match my friends photo.
My sister has Worzel at the seaside, that's not it either. These books were originally written in the '40's but obviously this is the newer 70's/80's version.
