Got an OK to swim, travel!

6 weeks ago I had bilateral knee surgery, and for the most part, I am doing well in therapy! I can swim!! Luckily SSR had 4 nights available...July 9-13...I am celebrating my new knees!

Thank you, all! Last year we did an imprompto visit to see Frozen Fireworks......perhaps we should plan on a mid July trip!

when I had knee surgery had to get a wheelchair the doctor order it - well it really helped - because start pushing it instead of being in it. and by the end of 5 days was walking fine again.

the chair gives more support than those walkers.

then you could get a free one from Disney - just ask at the front desk or bell services.

I needed a cane and then a walker for at least 6 months before my surgery. I have now graduated to a cane instead of a walker earlier this past week. I will be doing PT for balance in the weeks before our SSR visit. I will most likely still rent a ECV for this trip. Every day now I walk a little bit further outside, it feels great to be able to be more active!

Thank you so much for all good wishes. We have our FP+ picked, our Magic Bands and yesterday the ME tags came!
Between now and Disney, DH will return to our Ohio house for what could be the last time.....we will be sorting things, what gets given away, thrown away or put in storage for an anticipated move to FL!
