My DS (12) gets the postcards about twice per year--only times when we can't go! My Mom gets them frequently as well, she just rec'd. the one for the All-Stars/pop Century for $49.00--there's an offer I could live with if I had the time off from work!

I got one today for deluxe rooms, for Jan/Feb. I was really hoping to go in the late spring or early summer. I was so disappointed when I checked the dates!

We just returned from WDW today to discover a postcard was delivered to us for Jan/Feb deluxe resorts for $109 a night. The problem is the postcard is in my sister in laws name but sent to my address. I don't think it is good for either of us then. We took a trip together in the spring of 2002 and stayed at the Poly. The room was in her name but I had booked it for her through my husband to get the special promotion price at the time. Her address was on the reservation then, not ours. I just don't get how these postcards work!

Debbie, have hope, because I got a postcard after I already had a 6 month old ressie for the Beach Club, which I already modified twicw with codes, and they STILL sent me a postcard with another code. It was for Values and Mods, byut they let me apply it and I saved a few more dollars.

So anything is possible with Disney!!

But there is no way DH is going to go at the end of Jan. He thinks its not going to be warm enough. Oh well I would feel guilty putting my dog in the kennel at that time of year anyway. Maybe I'll get one for May hopefully in '05!

Oooh--Aisling--great to know. I actually just sent in final payment at rack rate (couple of weeks ago) so if anything comes up (postcard, email, AP) I will extra play money. If not, it's paid in full, with no worries.

How are people getting the postcards? I was down at Dis in July for 11 days (best time I've ever had) and I keep looking for one of those elusive cards in my mailbox .

Is there a good place to sign up for things that would increase my chances of getting one?

postcard came today: Deluxe from $109 1/1/04--2/11/04 .Disney must have sensed that we were booked at RPR for 8 nites. Now we can do WDW for 2 of those nights. What is the cancellation policy? Is CRO still there since October?

I did not receive a postcard but I received the same information via e-mail. I am not sure how they got my other than the fact I filled out a survey during our previous visit in May '03. However, after the holidays is not a good time to take vacation.

I got a Deluxe (109) postcard today - I went in September and filled out 2 surveys (both at Epcot) while there but ressies are never in my name.

That said, I do request the vacation videos (last time I said we were planning a Feb 05 trip) and I access the Disney website with my log-on info.

Honestly, I'm baffled as to how they send out these cards.
