Got an AP rate for Beach Club for 2 weeks from now...Impulse trip!

Too excited to stay at the Beach Club for our first time.
Asked daughter if she wanted a birthday party or a trip to Disney.

She thought about it and went back and forth but decided on Disney. I was worried we'd have to stay home. Only AP rate we could find was a Beach Club water view.

We stayes at the BC for the first time in April. Also the first time to stay onsite. LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT!!!! I have never stayed at a Disney resort before so I have nothing to compare it to. No disappointments. Close to MGM, Epcot, right at the Boardwalk(b-fast from the Boardwalk Bakery is great, only a short walk). NEVER had to wait on a bus, although it is not always this way. The pool is out of this world. Beaches and Cream restaurant is a must!!! Beautiful to look out over the lake at night time, all the lights. I think that you will love it.

Great location! Great resort! The only thing you will be disappointed with is that your stay is so short!

I should have also mentioned that you can walk to Epcot to watch Illuminations, their nightly fireworks display. It takes maybe 10 minutes to get there. A very short walk. We stood on the bridge( enter Epcot, go to main walkway, bridge is just to your right, I believe). Also, the ESPN club is a good place to eat. Go out the back of the resort, hang a left to the Boardwalk, and it is the first place you come to. Hotwings were great!!! The Boardwalk Bakery is just past ESPN. While at the Boardwalk at night, look back over to the resort. It is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

We did the 4land/3cruise in April. I have been on MANY vacations in my life, but this one stands way out above the rest!!!

ETA : They have an alacart(sp?) bfast right off the lobby. Nice if you are in a hurry. Normal bfast foods, cereal, muffins, fruit, etc. Doesn't cost you a fortune. Character bfast at CapeMay was nice, just hard for me to stomach $80 plus to feed my family of 4. Glad I did it for the experience, but I wouldn't do it again because of the expense.

You're going to love the Beach Club! We stayed there for the first time in August and I'm trying to figure out a way to get back there. All I can say is " Location, location, location!"

Oh man... this is a problem I should have!! Stayed at the Beach Club for a first family trip this summer and loved it!! For those interested in a trip report, I posted this recently...
