Got a rope???

I was wondering?????
I was planning on hanging a extra clothes line in our room for wet pool towels and bathing suits.
We are staying at ASMovie. Our first time.

Has anyone else done this before?
And if so, Any suggestion on where and how you did it?

When we were there in early May some families, were hanging their towels on the balcony, not sure how Disney feels about it but tons were doing it. Are you bringing your own towels? Because if your not you can just toss your wet towels in the dirty laundry bins outside of the pools and grab fresh ones from Mousekeeping! Thats what we did everytime we went to the pool.

Just an FYI,
There is a line that goes across the tub in the bathroom....It retracts when you dont need it.....

Some guests pack suction cups(w/hooks) for hanging up swimsuits, etc. above the bathtub. They don't take up much space in the suitcase & are handy to have (plus as another poster said there is a retractable line that is right next to the shower/curtain rod).

If you're having trouble with swimsuits *ever* drying, I suppose you could even take the suction hook/cups, put them on the room's window & string a line between the cups...that way they would get dry in the sun. I know a lot of folks put their towels out on the walkway bannisters or on a room balcony, but sometimes the wind or light fingers do make the items disappear.

Yep! No need to bring a rope. It has a built in line, just pull it and lock it in. To see those towels and bathing suits on the rail looks tacky.

last year, our next door neighbors at pop century had hung TONS of laundry (not towels/swimsuits, but LAUNDRY) on the walkway rail to dry... it probably covered the railing in front of five rooms! and it was there for days... i finally took it down and folded it and put it in a bag in front of their door one day when it started to rain... i hope they appreciated it!

I hang them on hangers and then on the door frame of the closets or bathroom, on the hinge of the door to the room or on the shower curtain poll. In the morning they are usually dry enough to hang in the closet so they are not in housekeeping’s way. Bathing suits, towels or clothes wet for whatever reason hang on the line in the bathtub until dry and then put in my dirty laundry bag.

The world is full of people who are inconsiderate. Then you read about someone who does a good deed like folding a strangers laundry so it won't get wet, and you say "ahhh, there are some good people still left". Nice job, I would love to know if they appreciated your good deed for the day.

while i was folding it (and it took awhile LOL) i was soooo nervous they would come out of their room and blast me for touching their stuff! LOL! i was kinda surprised, though, that the resort let them leave it there for two days...

hey, maybe if they are a dis'er they'll chime in and say thanks! LOL!

Yes I know. I dry my husbands and my sons clothes but not mine since most are 100% Rayon or 100% cotton. As I said I hang dry most all my clothes.

Bathing Suits and things do look bad hanging from the railings, thats why we surprised Disney was letting them do it. I think at the ASMo they are laxed on some things like that,I don't think you could do that from your balcony at Moderate or Deluxe. We just get fresh towels everytime and throw them in the laundry, we hung our bathing suits on the clothes hangers in the little closet thing since all our stuff was shorts and things and didn't get hung up in there anyways.
