Got a postcard!Can ayone else use it?

I received one of those postcards with the discounts and we are not going until Jan. I don't know if it is okay for someone else to use the code but I would be willing to send it to someone if it is transferable.

Can the postcard code be used in Aug?

I think it can be used by other people, I called just now to make a reservation for my sister, I told the CM I will not be going, he said it is okay. But part of my sister's stay will be before 08/29 and the existing discount codes expired on 07/31.

If your code can be used before 08/29, I definitely like to use it.

Don't let my MIL see this post!

A couple of years ago my Mother in law took all of us -- 2 sons, 2 daughter in laws, and twin grandkids to WDW. We had 3 rooms.. when we got there she put one room in the other DIL's name for their key card. A few months after getting home, DIL get's a postcard to Mom's house. Yay! We did the happy postcard dance and promptly planned the next trip- MIL called CRO and they wouldn't let her make the reservation because it wasn't her name on the card. Even after trying to explain that DIL didn't live at the same address, and wasn't going, and that MIL had booked and paid for the whole trip they still wouldn't let her book it, and they sent the postcard to HER house!. She called several times and never got the special rate.

And do you know, she still talks about it to this day.. literally, this afternoon she was giving me a hard time about not having made our ressies for november, and I made the mistake of telling her that i was trying to hold out for a postcard or email. lol.. I never should have said it!

I am sure things have probably changed since then.. heck, maybe even because of her. If they let you make the ressie, try to bring the postcard with you just in case.

I guess I should give up my daily 'exercise' (running to the mailbox) and just make my ressie.

This is what it says: Rate available most nights 8/29--12/19/04 except 10/17-10/20/04, 11/10-11/13/04 and 11/23-11/27/04 . Number of rooms at these rates is limited. Tax not included.
