Got a PIN! Scored RPR for $125 a night!

No length of stay required either! Heading down the first week of June, yep, add us to the insane HP crowds...but at 125 a night and 99 7 day tix? You betcha I booked!
First time I have ever received a PIN for Universal...gonna hit there first and then over to Star Wars weekend...good thing my kids are teens, we are going to be like sardines for a week in the parks, but it's all good!

Hi, I got sent this pin code yesterday and it said "As a valued Annual Pass holder...".

Now, I've never been an AP holder at Universal (we don't go often enough) and haven't even visited since 2006! Any idea why I would have received it? We already have rooms booked at HRH for this summer (at a different, unconnected email address), so it's no use, but would it work if I tried it, or would I be asked to show an AP on check in?

nope, not an AP holder...bet I can come up with is that I did an online survey months ago on ticket pricing...new multidate options ( which I weas not crazy about the fees they were suggesting) anyway....can't believe it! The PIN ends 6/10 and we are traveling 6/4-10 so it was perfect! The first time we stayed at RPR was 2 weeks after it opened, and had the $99 rate..we love the Hyatt Place hotels and were looiking into staying there as it is really affordable under $80 a night and so much room...but we're gonna stay on site now, the pool is so awesome at RPR!

just quadruple checked my email, nothing onit abut being an AP holder...so hopefully many others will receive this as well. The reservation girl offeredthat while still not "concrete" HP will be open and explained the Express options that are limited initially...of the ridea at HP the HP and the Forbidden Journey is only going to be allowed 1 express ride per day, but we knew that so no biggie. She also said that RRR should also be on express, that they really want that option going by the time HP opens.

Wierd, mine is definitely Annual Passholder but up to the same date as yours. My offer is for another $50 off existing AP prices, which means RPR starts from $104 per night!!

I got the pin today in an email and I am not an AP holder...we are going the end of July, so I couldn't take advantage of it...maybe another one will come my way!

Wish I would have gotten that code I just booked for the first week of Nov. Hoping that in the middle of the week (Tues-Thur.) won't be as crazy as on the weekends

Why do you think they put out a pin code which covers part of June if WWoHP is (maybe) going to open by May 28th....Are many people waiting to make ressies ...I would think the hotels would be packed to capacity. What am I missing?

Yeah, that AP rate is amazingly good, but being from Chicago we went with the $99 tix instead of AP, so I am SO happy for the hotel rate.
diskids2, I think since summer brings in the crowds regardless of rates, they are offering the PIN into the 1st week of June. They have spring break blocked out as well. For once my youngest gets out of school Memorial day ..so we are able to go a good 2 weeks sooner than usual. I know we are going to be seriously jammed crowd wise, but we usually go at Christmas or 4th of July, so we will just plan accordingly.

Manoman, I hope I get this too! We booked RPR through US though we are doing the $99 weeklong tix as well. Right now we are paying $131 per night for RPR so I can't complain but this would be sweet!

I just scored the same rate with a PIN I got last night. It was in my spam folder and I would have never seen it if I hadn't took a second look. Woo hoo! I've never stayed onsite so I am SUPER excited.

I bought an Annual Pass 5 years ago that was never activated and apparently is still valid.. Unfortunately, Universal doesn't have me on file (yet) as having an annual pass. We want to stay at the PBH June 5th-9th or 10th.
I would LOVE to have access to the great cheap hotel rates from these emails with special pin numbers for APH. Are they at all transferable? Anyone have an email pin they can't use? Since we live in WA state, I can't activate my pass until we get there!

there was a $99 7 day 2 park hopper pass available for a long time, (could even have been about a year) Kroger grocery stores also had them for $89 and AAA for $99..I think UndercoverTourist as well, but not sure...anyway, last month I think the offer ended and now the one on the banner above ^ is the current offer. The 7 day ticket expires after day 7 whether you use all 7 days or not. You do not have to go in all 7 days but you can. You can try your local AAA office, there may still be a straggler ticket or 2 around, but pretty slim chance. The best part is that the ticket never expires, not until you activate it for the first day you enter the park, then your 7 days start ticking.

I'm pretty sure that Kroger pulled the tickets by now. I think there was a post that they couldn't be activated after January. I wish I had bought some extras when I bought them for our trip.
