Got a Pin # For Campground.

I received a pin # from WDW with a pin # for Camping. $64. for full hook up campsites for RVs of all types.4/23-6/2/07 I was not interested in camping, but the cabins, so I called and asked if the pin would work for them. I got $199. on cabins, alot better deal I was getting with AAA. The deal came in my daughters name, she recently went on Disney.com to make the trip maps for our upcoming trip. I think this is how we got the pin, because any mailers used to come in my husbands name before.

Did you (your daughter) get this in e-mail or regular mail? Do you guys stay at FW often? I'm curious because I don't ever get any offers for reduced prices at FW (I'm registered at their web page, did the maps, etc.), I figured it's because we go fairly regularly (ever other year or so). I guess they don't think they have to since we usually stay there. If we were to get the code sent to us, I might consider upgrading to a preferred site at that price.
I'm editing to note that I see on your list of resorts you've stayed at that you don't have FW. Did the notice you received only offer FW or other resorts? Just trying to understand how they pick and chose who to send codes to

Pin codes seem to be sent with no rhyme or reason, unfortunately!

The pen # was sent via a brochure in the mail. The last time we were at WDW was in Jan. 2005, and we stayed at POR. We have never stayed at FW, but we have stayed at WL. I have gotten mailers for FW before, but not for a few years. We live close to Disneyland and we have annual passes, that could be the reason we got the brochure. It just seems kinda funny that she made those maps and not a week later the brochure came addressed to her. Like the other writer said, there seems to be no rhyme nor reason to when you get them!
