Got a pin, can't believe it! Followed advice on momtobryncess' thread.

Well, after weeks of hoping and waiting, I've received the pin that I was hoping for, the coveted 20/30/40 for dates through December. For those of you who are also hoping to get a pin, please know that I followed the advice on momtobryncess' thread. As a matter of fact, my sister and I each received a pin, even though we live together. Gee, I wish I could give one of them away to one of you. Anyway, as suggested in the thread, on the Disney site, I deleted all of my saved vacation offers, but created itineraries where I stated that I did not need accomodations, and put "other" and "non-Disney resort hotel" as where I would be staying. I just did this yesterday and we each received a pin today. Please don't give up, and good luck to all of you who are waiting for a fall promo or a pin.

I didn't actually call, I got an email today around 12:30. I had updated my profile on the Disney site with the saved itinerary on Monday afternoon.

Hey, I may be wrong about the reason that I got a pin, but it was only after I did that (and believe me, I have tried EVERYTHING) that it actually arrived. Same for my sister. Good luck and I hope it works out for you as well.

Who knows? I saved two different itineraries, one with each option. I wanted to be sure I covered all my bases. Not sure which one (if either, really) actually worked. Try doing both.

went ahead and called, just couldn't wait no pin code darn......he did want to go ahead and book my vacation for me, I said I'd like to wait to see if a special offer came out, and he advised me to go ahead and book to "save my spot" of course I knew better....he did say a fall promo should be out soon, but I figured that too

Thanks for the tip. I saved 2 intineraries -- one saying we need accomodations and the other saying we don't. I'll come back and post if I get a PIN.

Here's to hoping that this works, we are waiting for an October deal too! I just filled out our intinerary according to the instructions above & will post if we get a pin as well!

I just deleted my saved vacation packages and then followed the advice here. Oh pleeeeze lemme get a pin! The bad thing is that beginning tomorrow morning I'm going to be away at the beach with no internet access for the next couple of days.

*should I cancel my weekend plans so that I can check my email for a pin?* Just kidding....
