Got a nice compliment today!

I stopped by to see my mom at the nursing home (she's there for some rehab). Anyway, her roommate said I looked cute today (just had shorts and t-shirt).... so my mom says how old do you think my daughter is and the woman said... "oh, about 30".

I'll be 47 next month!!!!

Oh, and no she's not in the Alzheimers unit!

The folks there love to have vistors and will make you feel young really quick with their sweet commets. Most of my residents still call me a kid, granted to them I am.

My DD's school practiced letter writing & penmanship via writing letters to a nursing home patients and my DD's person wrote back so I asked for the address for this woman and I am trying to encourage my dd to take sometime to make someones day just a little brighter.

LOL, I work at a senior living community and at 48 I am considered a "spring chicken"!! I get hit on daily by the old men! I guess to them I AM young!!
