Got a new job....

My old manager who had moved into another department 2 months before we were made redundant phoned me on Wednesday night to say he had a vacancy in his new team and would i like to go for an interview. So i went for an interview on Thursday afternoon, and it wasnt really an interview - more of an informal chat about what the job entails etc and they offered me the job there and then

As its within the same company, im no longer redundant and its just a transfer so i start on Monday! No more 2 hour commute each way

Oh...and i managed to wrangle a nice payrise too
