To anyone who has been wondering where I've been, I got a new job and started on Monday (Jan 5) and it has thrown my eating plan all out of sorts.

I've been a SAHM for seven years, ever since my first DD was born, so this has been a huge adjustment for all of us. I was doing better with my exercise regimen, but I haven't done it in a week!

It's been insane here the last few days, with the new job, and scrambling for childcare. I should be done with training this week. Then I hope to be on a set schedule. Also, I have found childcare. So things hopefully will be less crazy.

Any diet tips for a new working mom would be great! I've been trying a modified Atkins with reduced carbs/no sugar.

Congratulations on the new job. I never worked when Travis was small so I have no advice for you on that front but I would take an Atkins friendly lunch and treats with me. That way you will be covered :)

Be prepared with little things to keep you from getting too hungry.: a handful of nuts (small handful), cheese stick, low carb bar (beware), beef jerky.

I don't do Atkins, but I agree that being prepared is the key. Bring your lunch and have something on hand that you can eat on those occasions when "goodies" show up in the office!

It also helps to keep some easy to prepare things on hand at home. Sometimes you're just too tired or too busy to cook. Or just go out to eat. (That's what I do. ;) )
