Got a Meta Quest 3s

And flipping love it! It took a while to figure out how to transfer video and image files to it from my MacBook, but now I have, it's magical! I mean, imagine watching Chocolat in curved widescreen right in front of your eyes with surround sound! And it has "environments" which replace your normal room with a 3D make believe world… beautiful!

Nice - I've been wanting a VR unit. I may be considering the refreshed Meta Quest products. Not sure which one I would go for - or if I even will, but I think I would enjoy it.

The only thing I would say is, if you want it as a movie machine, I'd recommend more than 128GB storage. It runs out way too easily.

I would mostly use it for games or just watching some VR YouTube videos. I would likely favor watching movies on my television..

Then 128GB should be fine Seriously, this is like the BEST purchase I made in a VERY long while!

Question: Can you stream movies into that setup? I assume it has apps for most of the major services, or does it? You wouldn't really need storage then.

You should be able to stream them… I just happened to have a LOT of movies saved on my laptop and wanted to upload the best of them onto my headset, so I can watch them in awkward places, network wise.

If money is no object, an Apple Vision cannot be beat at all - I tried one in store and it was AMAZING! However, thousands of dollars… Out of my price range!

https://www.meta.com/gb/quest/quest-3s/ - the Quest 3s, just released is still pretty amazing and very affordable. It's the one I own. No audio jack though but the natural sound is VERY impressive. I gather you can pair some bluetooth headsets to it like Apple Ear Buds, but I haven't tried yet.
