Our waitlist came thru for the GV at OKW !! :cool1: :cool1: (hope someone else got the two villas we had reserved at VWL !!)

Which bldgs at OKW have the GV's?? Just want to check out what the possibilities are.

We'll be 7 adults and a 16 month old. It will be great all being together.

Any suggestions or things I need to know? We've never stayed in a GV.

Hoping to get the WOW when family sees the room.

Even with your crowd, you should be very comfy in the OKW GV. I stayed in one last year with 5 other women and we certainly had plenty of space. You will especially love that you have FOUR bathrooms (although the second one downstairs has only a shower, no tub,but it is a large shower and very nice bathroom). The laundry room off the kitchen is almost big enough to serve as an auxiliary bedroom! There is also a stereo system for playing music and DVDs but we couldn't get it to work well (probably our error). We were in the SouthPOint area which is my favorite...towards the back of the resort and quiet. Still only about a 5-7 minute walk to Hosp. House and main pool. Enjoy your stay!

pparrot: We'll be at OKW from Sunday, Nov. 12 to Friday, Nov. 17 (check out on Friday). I waitlisted on 4/17/06. I wanted all the days. No moving during the trip. We had rooms at VWL so we would have been happy with whatever we ended up with.

disgrits:  the screen name!

ccw: thanks for the info. I think we'll be really happy with our villa. :dance3: :dance3:

Any other info?

Buildings 15,16,63,64,19,22,24,25,29,43,49,51,53, have GV, 19 is smoking.
One bedroom upstairs has 2 regular beds the other 2 queens and the down stairs has a master bedroom with one king so you might want to figure out who stays where before arriving. You will have the wow factor, it even got a wow out of me and I am not easily wowed. Have a great time!! :sunny: :sunny:

Almost true, except that buildings 64 and 24 are not buildings with GVs.

Congrats on the GV....You'll LOVE it! It's true, the laundry room does almost qualify as an auxiliary bedroom! The room with the two double beds almost has a better bath room situation than the one with the two queen beds. The hall bath downstairs has the beautiful tile that they have in the toilets near Olivia's. It's small but very pretty. You will also notice that the master in a GV at OKW is about 3 feet longer than the master in a 1 or 2 bedroom OKW unit. There are TWO easy chairs in there instead of one.

Just had to say Congrats! I am so very jealous!

And GEAUX TIGERS!

Diane, I think Brandip22 is referring to our beloved LSU Tigers!, not the Detroit Tigers!. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Congrats on getting your waitlist.

DMIL and DFIL will have this BR. They like to watch TV before bed. Do these chairs have a good TV-view?
