got a good remedy for a headache?

my head hurts really bad, and we don't have any asprin... I don't have my lisence yet, so i can't go get any, and no one else is around.. is there anything else i can do other than just go to bed?

Tylenol? Aleeve? Excedrin?

Benadryl would make you drowsy if you think sleeping would help..

Hot compresses or cold compresses; dark room; hot bath; cup of coffee?

All things that have worked for me on one occasion or another..

I would try a cup of tea or coffee.

sometimes caffeine helps -- drink a cup of coffee or a Pepsi.

an accupressure technique -- the web between your thumb and pointer finger is supposedly linked to headeaches. massage the web and it should help the headache.

also, massaging the temples might help.

if it's a tensiion headache, try something to relax the muscles in your neck and upper back.

an ice pack might help as well.

It depends on where your head hurts.
I usually get pain behind my eyes. I usually use a cold gel mask which helps. I've also tried putting vicks vapor rub or noxema right underneath my eyebrows (have to be careful to only use a little, not get it on your eyelid or in your eye). The minty burn takes away the headache pain.

Along the same lines I always give my kids some coke. This seems to help.

Find a clothespin (does anyone still use these?) ... clip it to your earlobe ... won't cure the headache, but it will make you forget the pain

So, Now I have a Mountain Dew.. and I'm going to look for something to take
