Anyone read a good book lately?

I’ve read Dan Brown’s ‘Angels and Demons’ and ‘The DaVinci Code’
Most all of Sydney Sheldon’s stuff
All Janet Evanovich’s ‘Plum’ books. (Didn’t care for her ‘Full House’)
Most all of Jack Higgens’ work
Finishing Preston/Child’s ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ (Anyone read any of their other works?)

I like a good plot with lots of twists and turns.

If you liked The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons you would probably like The Eight by Katharine Neville. It's one of my favorite books, mixing a current plot line with one set during the French Revolution. Lots and lots of twists and turns!

If you like Janet Evonovich you'll probably like Jayne Ann Krentz. She actually writes different genre under different names (She's Amanda Quick for historical romance). Nora Roberts does pretty good romances as well.

I personally like the Jack Ryan based Tom Clancy books, not a fan of the op center ones.

I also really enjoyed the Left Behind series, and have read Tim LaHaye's new series starter, Babylon something. Jerry Jenkins (the other co-author of Left Behind) wrote a secular book that I liked called something like "The Youngest Hero" about a kid who was an awesome baseball player.

For fantasy, I really like Anne McCafferty's series. She has a lot of them set on a world called Pern, which feature dragons; a series based on a unicorn planet with Acorna in the titles; a series about "brain ships", etc. Mercedes Lackey does good fantasy as well.

Can you tell I read a lot??
