Got a Free Dining Pin for January to March

I got a Free Dining Pin for January to March 2014 but I have been trying to go on and price out a trip and keep getting an error code saying the system is down. Is anyone else having this same issue? Would love to book another trip for free dining since we've never done it if not then we will be going sometime in April instead.

This was the first pin I've ever received. Now trying to decide if we want to book through Disney World or if we want to rent DVC points. Oh the suspense. lol

What were the dates on the pin?

The dates on the pin are for 1/3 - 3/5/14. Included in the PIN is another PIN for up to 35% for selected dates from January to September. So we might actually make plans to go in the fall 2014. Still trying to decide since both my husband and I are in school full time and I homeschool our daughter as well.

May I ask the date your recieved the email? It gives me hope that another round of free dining pins are coming out!!

Yesterday, we got free dining when least expected. We originally booked POR March 2-5 under SPD and had a 2 night room only at the Poly to follow. I booked it back in Sept and checked for a FD pin every couple of weeks. Finally gave up after a couple of months. When we heard about the monorail work in addition to construction at the poly we decided just to do the whole stay at POR. We had to upgrade to a river view room to cover our dates, so I expected to pay a couple of hundred dollars more than the same stay in a preferred room for the same time. When waiting for the new total the CM said we would like the new total with free dining!! It was over $500 less than I would have paid under SPD. I did not get a PIN in the mail or email and there was no PIN when I asked in November.
Don't give up hope for free dining just yet, it may appear when you least expect it.
