Just returned from the world on Sunday...on Friday we were at AK...my dad was taking pics outside of Dinosaur then we entered the ride...after we got out he went to reach in his camera bag and NO camera!!! I ran back to the front & the CM told me to check in the gift shop in a little while, so we went to have lunch (dad didn't eat too much he was soooo upset) I went back & still no camera, the CM in the gift shop told me to call central lost & found the next day to see if it had been found after the park closes.they walk the track every day & find things that have been "bumped" out of the jeeps during the ride.So Sat. around 12pm I went in person to lost & found at the TTS, described the camera & the CM asked me if it was a digital camera,I said yes,she then asked what would be the last pic taken...thankfully I knew he was taking pics outside of the ride, so I said outside the Dinosaur ride. She went in the back for all of 2min. and she re-appeared with our camera in hand!!!! she checked the last couple of pics and even saw me in one...so she knew it was our camera!!! we were so excited!!!  The camera was replacable but all the pictures from that whole week were not!! Also that same day my son left a bag at the contempory with some stuffed animals he won in dinoland...they had that too!!!! :cool1: :cool1: To us that was 2 dreams granted by the Lost & Found squad!!

Great news. I'm sure it is incredible how much stuff is collected each day from all the parks. Glad yours was found.

Our last day in the parks... we were at MGM in the morning, planning to go over to EPCOT in the afternoon and evening. We had done a number of attractions that morning, including "One Man's Dream" and the connected film. When we showed up at Toy Story Pizza Planet for lunch, I discovered that my wallet was missing--containing my KTTW and my driver's license. It wasn't even a bit wallet-- it was more like an ID case with room for two cards and a little bit of cash... I was not sure that anyone would see it an notice it!

We wouldn't be able to go to EPCOT that evening, and I had no idea if I'd be able to fly the next day! What a way to ruin an absolutely perfect trip!

Well... we went to the Lost & Found, and after careful description and a couple of minutes, I left with my wallet in hand--complete with everything that had been in it. I had dropped it while watching the film at One Man's Dream.

Kudos to those folk at Lost & Found, and all the alert CMs and guests who find lost things and turn them in!

Wow... that is awesome! I can only imagine your relief to get your camera back. I hear ya about not being able to go back and take all those pictures over again. Phew! :goodvibes:

Its so nice to know there are still some honest people left in the world!! Im happy for you you got your wallet back!! what a relief it is to get something back from a place where there are 10's of thousands of people there each day!! Im pretty sure if my camera & your wallet were lost at a local amusement park they would more than likely be long gone!!

Isn't that the truth! :)

I hope all your pictures come out great!! What an awesome thing to be able to have back again.

Wow, so glad all of your items were returned! Nice to hear there are so many good hearted people out there.:goodvibes

If anyone finds the key fob to my car alarm someone in Splash Mountain let me know. I lost it there back in April sometime. Thanks

We have taken to putting sticky address labels on cameras, cell phones, ipods and even chargers. I honestly believe that 99% of people out there would much rather return something to their rightful owner than not. So I say, help everyone out and make it easy for them. I had an occasion to have to look for a cell phone at a major U.S. airport lost and found, and it was not a pretty picture. They hauled out a huge Rubbermaid bin full of lost cell phones. If there had only been names/addresses/home phone numbers on any of them, it would have made their life easier. Of course as luck would have it, most of them had dead batteries.
