Seriously, this is only for existing members doing a significant (130 points) add-on; I don't think we can infer much about the sales of SSR to new owners. I will agree that maybe they're trying to lure add-ons away from "sold-out" resorts and to SSR.

Dean, I thought it was a bonus week too. But he said that it is not. You can even request HH in the summer, South CA in the summer and all that. The only restriction is on holidays.

My feelings on this is that with the new emphasis they are giving to helping members acquire points at sold out resorts, they feel that members will shy away, or have already been shying away from SSR. I really feel that members weren't as enthusiastic about SSR as they were about VWL and BCV for add-ons. Hence the new focus on getting add-ons for the sold out resorts, and the latest incentive for current members for SSR.
