just called 1-800 beastar and asked about entertainment rate and lady asked how many in party. 2 adults and 2 children for september. she was quick to say no rooms available for rpr that all she had were king beds and pull out couch, fire laws would not allow 4 people in that kind of room. i then explained that i already had reservations for 2 queen beds, standard room for 125.00 per night. was just wondering if entertainment card rate was in effect for those nights for that room. already had fan club card rate" thanks again tinkerbarb " the lady said sure it will be 110.00 a night . she said she changed it in her computer and it will only be 110.00 a night! this is great, since i've been reading this website i've saved close to 100.00 dollars. this will pay for parking and a good dinner. by the way the lady was very polite and helpful.by the way am a lowes club card member. will we still get milk and cookies?

I just had to answer someone from Gastonia, NC. I grew up near there and have family there.

I have stayed at all the resorts at various types of prices and have always gotten the loews first perks!

When I made our resv. (July2) I told the lady I was a loews member, she asked for the number and what we wanted in our room. I told her. I also used the ent. rate and got our room for 110. a night, aug. 11-15. So, I assume the still do it. I have seen on here people saying yes, some saying no......... all I know is what they asked me. If you have your number, I'd call back and give it to them!.

I am a Loews member and booked the RP using the Entertainment rate both last summer and this one. Last summer I did not receive my perks but this year I did. A nice pitcher of milk and three large cookies, plus my little daughter received the pail and shovel and on her room key it said grade A for the free drinks and the teenagers got their Loews bags (nice bags too) with all the goodies inside. We did have a problem once when my husband ordered some drinks by the pool, gave the waitress my daughters room key for the free coke and then paid cash for the rest. I guess the waitress misunderstood and billed the drinks to my room but I had no problem getting them taken off. Also, after getting home I found a coupon for a free sundae, I assume this was at the bottom of my daughters pail? not sure but I was sorry I didn't see it while there because we ordered lots of ice cream by the pool.
