Got a Beach Cottage at 7 months!

So excited. I got a beach cottage at Vero Beach for May. We got 2 days and are waitlisted for the other 2. We did reserve a 1 bdrm for the days we are waitlisted just in case. It will only be my husband and I, but we want to be on the beach and did not want to be in an Inn room.

We are going on a Southern Caribbean cruise the last week in April, then going to Vero beach for 4 nights and then Animal Kingdom lodge for 3.

I am very surprised you could get a BC at 7 months, congrats! We still can't get our trips dates nailed down, we had such a relaxing time at Vero this year we are planning on going again!

You are going to love VB. I just wish it was a little closer to WDW. My family loves going to the beach before we head to WDW. We have been doing it several years now. I even get a studio when I am in Flordia fishing along the Sebastian River.

So, I am curious. What days did you get the BC for and what days have you reserved the 1B for?

Hoping you have the 1B for W-T and BC for F-S (I'm guessing F-S is most likely for the BC).

I met a woman peeking in as I was bringing things in from the car. She never saw the inside of one, and was curious. It was our first BC stay, so I invited her in and we toured it together!

Thank you for all the well wishes! We are currently in St. Thomas at our Marriott timeshare. I had to buy a phone card to call for the reservations. (I have Verizon and it costs $1.99 per minute in the VI for phone calls.) The resort phone charges we not much better. Anyway it worked just fine. One benefit was that I am on East coast time and did not have to get up early to make the reservation.

I also was able to reserve a 1 bdrm savanna view at AKV. Which savanna should I ask for? I reserved Kidani village.
